At mecora, we manufacture medical plastic components using injection moulding. We cover a wide range of component sizes and can produce them quickly thanks to our in-house tool shop. We work with proven materials, but also with materials according to your specifications. Mecora manufactures your products precisely, reliably and economically.
Thanks to different machine sizes, we can produce both delicate components and larger plastic components.
We specialize in small to medium volumes, which enables efficient and cost-effective production - ideal for market launches and niche products.
Thanks to our own tool production and close coordination between the departments, we can implement your products quickly and efficiently
Mecora works with optimized processes and manufactures suitable batch sizes, which reduces unit costs. This is how we reliably stick to your budget.
Tool design and material selection
During the design phase, the requirements for the product and its material are defined together with the customer. The appropriate material is then selected, after which the injection mould is designed and manufactured.
Machine Setup
Before the production process, the injection moulding machine including the associated mould is prepared and parameterised. In the subsequent process, the molten plastic is introduced into the mould, which enables precise reproduction of the component structures.
Cooling and demoulding
After the plastic has cooled down in a controlled manner in the mould, the finished component is then removed from the injection moulding machine in a fully or semi-automatic manner. Now the manufactured injection molded components can be fed into the subsequent process steps.
Quality control
At mecora, we work according to high quality standards. In integrated processes, we ensure that your finished component meets requirements for shape, dimensional accuracy and surface quality defined together with you.
